Crane testing

According to DGUV Principle 309-001, every operator of crane systems has to regularly check these systems.
We can offer our utility model protected system for this.

These systems consist of different plates, each with four threaded inserts for safe lifting. Two short and two long safety bolts secure the test plates when they are lifted. A traverse with two safety anchor points distributes the lifting force via a 2- or 4-strand chain to the crane hook. The test plates are connected to the bolts and the traverse via two square tubes. The test plates get simply placed on top of each other with a forklift / crane. Cones that are integrated in the plates are centered on each other. All metal parts are primed and painted in traffic red (RAL 3020), all concrete slabs are painted in light grey (RAL 7035). The weights have a tolerance of -0 / + 2.5% and are poured with a scale. The weights cannot be calibrated.

This utility model-protected test weight system consists of eight matched test plates (2x 1100 kg, 1300 kg, 2000 kg and 4x 2750 kg, tolerance -0 + 2.5%). Four M30 threaded inserts are casted in each plate for safe lifting.

The following cranes can be tested with 10% overload.

   7,500 kg = 8,250 kg

Undercarriage

The optional undercarriage enables flexible handling of the 16.5 t. with a small 2 t. forklift. You can reach almost every corner of the test site and maneuver safely in every room.

This utility model-protected test weight system consists of four matched test plates (2x 1100 kg, 1300 kg and, 2000 kg, tolerance -0 + 2.5%). Four M24 threaded inserts are casted in each plate for safe lifting.

The following cranes can be tested with 10% overload.

   2,000 kg = 2,200 kg
   3,200 kg = 3,500 kg
   5,000 kg = 5,500 kg

Individual test weights


We can also adapt test weights to your needs.

  • Do you have limited forklift capacity and therefore need lighter individual weights?
  • Or do your entrances only allow a certain external dimension?
  • Or do you need a test system above 16.5t. ?

We can configure various matched test plates based on our test weight systems. Four threaded inserts are casted into each plate for a safe lifting of the respective total test load. Two short and two long plug-in bolts secure the test plates when they are lifted. The test plates would be connected with each other via various traverses, square tubes, bolts and shackles. The test plates can easily be placed on top of each other with a forklift / crane. Cones can be integrated into the plates to center the plates one under the other. The design can be individually adapted by our own mold construction and our own paintwork.

Individual weights up to 30t. are currently feasible. Composite systems are tested for manufacturability.

Documentation

All weights and thread systems are checked. The hoists are installed by us with a certificate and correspond to the respective safety loads.
Each weight system has a manual with a declaration of conformity.
