Crane test weights
from 5kg to 165 tons

DGUV inspection

According to the DGUV principle 309-001, every operator of crane systems must have these systems inspected periodically.

We can offer our utility model-protected system for this purpose. These systems consist of different plates, each with four threaded inserts for safe lifting. Two short and two long pins secure the test plates during lifting. A crossbeam with two safety attachment points distributes the lifting forces over a 2- or 4-strand chain to the crane hook. The test plates are connected to the pins and the crossbeam via two square tubes. The test plates are simply stacked with a forklift or crane. Cones integrated into the plates self-center with each other. All metal parts are primed and painted in traffic red (RAL 3020), while all concrete plates are painted in light gray (RAL 7035). The weights have a tolerance of -0/+2.5% and are cast using a scale.

The weights are not calibrated for legal trade.

 Tenwinkel system test weight

Here are examples of what your crane testing system could look like:

1.1t to 16.5t / 1500 x 2000 mm

This utility model-protected test weight system consists of eight coordinated test plates (2x 1100 kg, 1300 kg, 2000 kg, and 4x 2750 kg, tolerance -0+2.5%). Each plate has four M30 threaded inserts cast for safe lifting. The following cranes can be tested with a 10% overload.

1,000 kg = 1,100 kg
2,000 kg = 2,200 kg
3,200 kg = 3,500 kg
5,000 kg = 5,500 kg
7,500 kg = 8,250 kg
10,000 kg = 11,000 kg
12,500 kg = 13,750 kg
15,000 kg = 16,500 kg

This utility model-protected test weight system consists of four coordinated test plates (2x 1100 kg, 1300 kg, and 2000 kg, tolerance -0+2.5%). Each plate has four M24 threaded inserts cast for safe lifting. The following cranes can be tested with a 10% overload.

Optional with trolley

The optional undercarriage allows for flexible handling of the 16.5t with a small 2t forklift. You can reach almost every angle of the testing area and maneuver safely in any space.

Further trolleys can be seen in the gallery.

Custom crane testing systems

We can also customize test weights to suit your needs.

Do you have limited forklift capacity and therefore require lighter individual weights?
Or do your access points only allow for certain external dimensions?
Or do you require testing systems above 16.5t?

Based on our test weight systems, we can configure various coordinated test plates. Each plate has four threaded inserts cast for the safe lifting of the total test load. Two short and two long pins secure the test plates during lifting. The test plates are connected to each other through various crossbars, square tubes, pins, and shackles. The test plates can easily be stacked using a forklift/crane. Cones can be integrated into the plates to center them with each other. The design can be customized through our own mold construction and painting process.
Individual weights up to 30t are currently achievable. Assembled systems will be tested for manufacturability.“
